Representation of Love.

Celine Dion- My Heart Will Go On

Every night in my dreams
I see you, I feel you,
That is how I know you go on

Far across the distance
And spaces between us
You have come to show you go on

Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go till we're gone

Love was when I loved you
One true time I hold to
In my life we'll always go on

Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

You're here, there's nothing I fear,
And I know that my heart will go on
We'll stay forever this way
You are safe in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

A Difficult Conversation

Freshman I had one of the most difficult conversations of my life, I was so scared and I knew i was going to be in deep trouble. I had to tell my parents that I was falling Math and English and failing of the junior varsity lacrosse team. My parents did not respond very well, my mom was so disappointed in me because she was so proud of me for making the lacrosse team, and I ruined my dreams of playing on the lacrosse team. And my dad was disappointed too because he thought i have lots of potential. It was a rough conversation.

Love or not to love.

Love or not to love that is the question on many peoples minds, is it worth it? How will you benefit from this? Well, I personally think you should pursue love because you could find your soul-mate and and go on to live a wonderful life together. Finding true love could be the best time of your life but breakups are always terrible too.

Interview

Today I'm interviewing my mother Karen Marie Collins, a 49 year old married women of 23 years with two sons Matthew, and Christopher. She grew in a Quincy, and was the youngest of 3 children, with parents who have been married for 52 years. She went to Stonehill College for a bachelors in Healthcare Administration, after graduating she met my father Alfred Louis Collins.

Me: How did you meet dad?

Mom: Your father was my cousin Chris' roommate at Northeastern University, we met at Chris' sister Terry's wedding where we were seated next to each other.

Me: When did you and dad finally start dating?

Mom: We ran into each other again at Puffer Bellies on the Cape, and when on our first date a few weeks later at Fridays?

Me: How was your first date, was it awkward?

Mom: We were both kind of nervous and didn't eat much, but definitely had a lot of fun even though your father didn't have a dime to his name.

Me: Was it love at first sight?

Mom: Later on I realized I met Al prior to the wedding at a cousins house, and my cousin told me to go check him out but she said "I think he's from another country." (my dad is a very dark Portuguese guy)

Me: When did you and dad get married?

Mom: 3 years after we started dating in 1987.

Me: So how is it being a mother of two boys, do you regret anything, did you want girl?

Mom: I always thought I'd end up with girls, but didn't care if they were boys or girls as long as they were happy and healthy, I wouldn't change a thing. But when i need some girl time i have lots of nieces, a sister, a mom, a little Shih tzu that i can dress up.

Me: What would you change about me and Christopher (brother)

Mom: Nothing, this is your journey through life, but I'm always here whenever you need me no matter what.

Me: Is it stressful being our parent?

Mom: One of the stressful things about being a parent is that you never stop worrying. I don't think that ever ends no matter how old you two get. I always hope i've done a good job parenting.

Me: Do you think you learn how to parent or its instinctual?

Mom: some things are instinctual, other things you wish you had a brochure for.

Me: Did we turn out how you wanted us to.

Mom: I'm not done raising you.

Me: OK, thanks for your time.

Mom: You're welcome.

New Thoughts

This year in Mrs. Sheehans we have done daily exposures trying to teach us a new way of thinking. Some things I have learned this year is to think deeper using the method of claim, evidence and, warrant. These thinking strategies help me in writing, arguments and further deepens my reading comprehension.

Flifferhuzza

On a dark and stormy night a peasant was traveling through the forest, when she heard a noise in a bush. She turned around to check what was going on, as she approached the bush the flifferhuzza launched out like a bat out of hell and mauled her to death with in an instant with its twenty inch claws. Then the flifferhuzza took off like a cheetah to the local village and murdered everyone there. A monster hunter named Mhatt Kollens heard of the horrific news and went on the hunt for this vicious beast. Once he found it with his godly tracking skills, they had an epic battle and the fierce warrior Mhatt Kollens lost his arm but triumphed over the beast and every one loved him.

Teens

In today's society teens and kids are underestimated as great thinkers, but I believe that teens could have an impressive impact on society for example, teens are always thinking of new and improved ways tom create a better earth for everybody to live on. I personally think that teens should have get more respect for adult when it comes to new things because we are more exposed to media and technology than a lot of them.

Tooth Brush Life

The thought of being a toothbrush makes me cringe inside my body. Everyday I get used just to brush the scum off of peoples teeth for about five minutes. Then for the rest off the day I am stuck in an old cup for twelve hours or more, its like prison, I'm stuck with some other guys like me, named Tongue Scraper and Floss and they suffer the same fate as I do, every day, the same routine, the same torture. The brushing is like a living hell, a big goofy looking giant takes me and almost drowns me under the faucet, then dumps this awful smelling paste on me then using my hair he grinds away at his repulsive teeth. It smelt as if this giant had gargled feces and I couldn't get the smell out of my hair. But one day, this giant came home with a new and improved electric tooth brush, named Sheelah, she was a fine looking thang, and as soon as she came in I was gone into the trash, and nowadays I hangout at the local trash disposal, life's good.

Being excited by a school environment can be a tough task for most teens. But if schools in the United States taught like other countries that accepted and used teens interests to help them learn easier and more efficiently instead of what we do, for example last year in math class we had more than one standardized test per week and this did not help us at all because I do not remember a single thing from last year because we were like monkeys, we could remember a formula for 24 hours then never use it again. So what we should do it make teens more enthusiastic about school by add new ways of thinking and learning.

Courage

Courage is an attribute that not many people have these days, but one unknown man known as "The White-Shirted Protester", who really affects me, because you shows that you need to fight for your beliefs even when the odds are heavily against you. This is something I certainly could not have done because I would not have the courage.

Goals

My Goals:

1. Become a better writer, because i did not do the best on my writing samples last year.

2. Become a better public speaker, because I stutter when I'm nervous or in a rush and I need to get past that issue.
